Originally established by Chef Harlan Goldstein of New York (after whom it is named), Harlan's is among the most popular of Hong Kong's upscale restaurants.

The restaurant is now headed by Chef Nelson Chui, a young and daring local chef, who combines his Hong Kong roots and French-Italian culinary education, to create some very imaginative dishes...

Modern-stylish design, with large windows through which you can enjoy lovely views over Victoria Harbour and Kowloon, create the perfect set up for a fantastic dining experience.  Ambience is quite pleasant (and surprisingly, not too formal), and service is expectedly very good.

The cuisine can be described as contemporary-fusion, with strong Mediterranean influence, and A-la-Carte signature dishes include:  Harlan's Burger (Chef Goldstein's legacy, with Cheddar Cheese, crispy Danish bacon, giant French fries and truffle mayo),   Herb Seared Beef Carpaccio, with Foie Gras and Chef Nelson's secret truffle sauce,   Hand crafted Spaghetti, with half Maine-Lobster, tomatoes, basil, fennel and Shellfish-SauceU.S. Prime Beef Fillet, with Foie Gras, French beans, truffle butter and Port wine jus  and  Black Trumpet mushroom-crusted Lamb Rack, with garlic puree, glazed vegetables and rosemary jus...

Desserts wise, their gorgeous Valrhona Warm Chocolate Cake, with chocolate soup and rum raisin ice cream is definitely worth leaving some space for...

Prices are on the high side but the dinning experience is first-class: Dinner is around HK$ 500 - 750 (Three course set-lunch goes for HK$ 300, while their "High Tea Experience" is priced at around HK$ 300 for two)

Open daily from 11:30 am to 10:30 pm (Lunch, High tea and dinner)
