International open-top sightseeing tour operator, Big Bus Tours, has recently launched a Hop-on, hop-off bus tour service in Hong Kong.
The company operates double-decker open-top buses on two routes: One in Kowloon and the other on Hong Kong Island (a single "open day ticket" covers both of them), covering most of the metropolis' must-sees: Star Ferry Pier, Jade Market, Mong Kok markets, Nathan Road, Avenue of Stars and the major museums in Kowloon... and SoHo, Lan Kwai Fong (LKF), Peak Tram Lower Terminus, Wanchai and Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island...
Digitally recorded commentaries are available in eight languages, including English, French and German...
Ticket costs HK$ 320 (or US$ 41) for an adult and HK$ 200 (or US$ 26) for a child and include the two bus-rides (Kowloon and Hong Kong Island), as well as a free return ticket on the Peak Tram and a free upper-deck return ticket on the Star Ferry.
Big Bus Tours also operates a one hour Open-top Hong Kong Night Tour which takes passengers through Kowloon's major evening-spots, like Avenue of Stars (where the tour starts from), Hong Kong Coliseum, Temple Street's Night Market and Mong Kok... Ticket costs HK$ 200 (or US$ 26) for an adult or a child...
There are also "combo tickets" which combine the two...

NWFB, One of Hong Kong's largest public transport operators, also runs a hop on hop off double-decker, called the "Rickshaw Sightseeing Bus".
Their service currently operates on two routes that cover most of the attractions around the central part of Hong Kong Island (Central, Sheung Wan, Wanchai and Causeway Bay), but don't cover Kowloon, or places like "the Peak", Ocean Park and Stanley on Hong Kong Island.
Buses depart from Central (Star Ferry) every 15 minutes, from 10am to 6pm, and passengers get a small complimentary map and can listen to a commentary about the various sites along the route...
One Day Pass costs HK$ 50 for an adult (Half of that for children under 12 and seniors over 65, and free for a baby below the age of 4) and allows unlimited rides throughout that day.
Tickets can be bought on board by either Octopus Card or Cash (exact fare)
All in all, it's not such a big deal (as it covers only a small part of the city) but it really costs very little and if you don't have much time or you like to see the city from an open roof bus, it certainly worth the cost...
