Tiger Airways is a Singapore based company that operates discounted flights from Singapore to many of East Asia's cities, as well as to Perth in Australia.
Flights to Singapore and Perth depart from Macau's airport. The company also operates direct flights to Singapore from Shenzhen and Guangzhou, on the Chinese side of the Hong Kong-China border.

East Asia Airlines and Heli Express jointly operate the Helicopter service between Macau, Hong Kong and Shenzhen (on the Chinese side of the Hong Kong - China border).

Those agencies normally make use of free seats on intercontinental flights that stop in several Far-East destinations. For example: Finnair stops at Bangkok on its way from Hong Kong to Helsinki and vice versa. There are, therefore, some vacant seats on the Hong Kong - Bangkok section of the flight and those are sold at a discounted rate by the online travel agencies.
