French stall

Visiting Singapore ?
Guided day trips are a very nice way to explore this unique and beautiful city...

Tucked on Little India's Serangoon Road, one of the last places on earth you would expect to find a French restaurant, this lovely eatery serves fabulous French cuisine in a simple, unpretentious environment and at a very good price.

The place is run by the experienced French chef, Xavier Le Henaff, who thought (justfully) that a down-to-earth French restaurant can do well in Singapore... So there is no million dollars décor here, with glitzy chandeliers, crisp white tablecloths and heavy silver cutlery, but the place is nice and pleasant (a bit like a Parisian semi-outdoor café),and the food is superb, and although the prices here are far lower than those of the swanky restaurants downtown, the chef uses prime quality imported ingredients: Duck leg, Fois gras and Escargot are imported from France, the salmon is from Norway and so on...

As expected, there is a decent selection of French wines (the more reasonably priced) and lovely desserts.

Prices are very reasonable: SG$ 30 - 40 can be enough for a nice meal.

Open daily (except Monday) for dinner only (desserts and coffees are available in the afternoon).
