This lovely café has a "social mission": To serve good food at a very reasonable price and still make enough profit, so some of it can be dedicated to the needy...

The décor here is nice, modern and unpretentious... pleasant ambience and a menu that features a reasonable selection of delicious international delicacies... from hearty soups (like the Shitake mushroom & fennel or the Potato leek & Bacon... both very nice), creative salads and gourmet-sandwiches (the Oven-Roasted Steak Sandwich and the Basil Pesto Chicken sandwich are particularly nice). As expected, there is a very good range of cakes, pastries and beverages...

Prices are very reasonable: SG$ 10 - 20

The place is open from 9 am to 10:30 pm, but there are different menus for different times of the day (breakfast menu, lunch menu, tea-time menu and so on...)
