It can be said that the atmosphere in this fabulous restaurant overshadows the food. Located in a charming colonial villa, atop of a steep flight of stairs, with a long verandah and spacious wood decks, and with the lush greenery of Fort Canning Park all around it... It's only a few minutes walk from the city-centre skyscrapers, yet it seems so far away.
You can dine alfresco, on the wooden deck, surrounded by lovely trees and shrubs and distant cityscape, or you can seat inside, within one of the cozy colonial-style dining rooms.
The food they specialize in can be described as modern Australian (although there is a strong presence of Classic European cuisine on the menu). Fresh, top quality ingredients are brought directly from 'downunder' to create a good range of delicacies that reflect the diversity of the southern continent... Superb seafood and fish, prime quality lamb and beef steaks and an excellent choice of wines.
