For fresh and delicious seafood at very reasonable prices, less than a few places in the city can beat this small and vivid café. Owned by the same group that owns "big names" like Greenwood Fish Market and Blue Lobster, this relatively small café aims at serving restaurant-style seafood at café prices...
Located at the bustling Marina Square, the café is fairly small and unpretentious, with tables and chairs overflowing onto the mall's corridor... you can either seat near the open kitchen and see how your food is being prepared, or catch one of the 1960s style booth seats by the window. Ambience is quite pleasant and easygoing...
The food is really good... pretty generous portions of strait-forward seafood dishes... from fresh oysters to the café's signature Seafood basket and from the must-try Pan-fried tusk fish with teriyaki sauce to superb Fish & Chips and seafood loaded pastas... nothing is too arty-farty or sophisticated... just good food !
As expected from a place that defines itself as a café, desserts are not disappointing either... the Apple crumble is particularly recommended.
Prices are quite moderate: SG$ 15 - 25 should be enough for a decent treat
