The nicest thing about the Dome Café is its location, at the porch of the Singapore Art Museum. The museum is housed within the former Saint Joseph's Institution building, a beautiful historic building with classic architectural motifs of a Mediterranean "palazzo", that used to accommodate one of Singapore's oldest Catholic boys' schools.
The porch is quite classy... with artistically tiled floor, Roman columns, wooden French louvers and old-style ceiling fans...
Food is quite good: the usual Italian-European fare you would expect a café to serve... no great surprises... just good food at a good price, accompanied by a decent choice of drinks.
Prices are not bad: around SG$ 20 - 25
