Located at Singapore's classiest hotel, the Raffles, Doc Cheng's is an internationally acclaimed restaurant, serving splendid fusion cuisine that beautifully blends Western and Far-east flavors, together with Indian and Middle Eastern touches...
The beautiful décor follows the overall British-colonial theme of this exclusive hotel, while boasting some contemporary chic... Black & white checkered floor and high ceilings on one hand - comfortable rattan furniture and some cheerful colors on the other hand... ambience is pleasant and relaxing... certainly less formal than in some other venues within the hotel, and service is excellent.
The menu presents "east meets west" fusion at its best... Peking duck pancake, Crab cake with Thai green curry and mango salsa, Tandoori style trout, Szechwan style rack of lamb, Duo of duck (pan-seared duck breast and duck confit) and Mirin and Soya glazed quail, just to name a few of the recommended dishes...
As expected from a restaurant at the Raffles, Prices are fairly high (not outrageously though...): around SG$ 75 - 100 for a full a-la-carte dinner (there are some set-menu options, especially around lunch time, that can start from around SG$ 40).
Open for lunch from Monday to Friday and for dinner daily
