Located at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental, this splendid restaurant has a long reputation for serving fine Cantonese cuisine, and its weekend Dim-sum buffet has earned a place for himself as one of the best places in Singapore for truly delectable dim-sum.
Classic Chinese interior, with plenty of dark Teak wood, lavish carpets and beautiful Cantonese motifs, together with elegant and relaxed atmosphere, create the perfect setting for a rich and authentic Cantonese feast...
The ever growing spread features a great selection of some of the most delicious Dim-sums and dumplings you have ever tasted... Professionally prepared, with thin skin... slight crisp on the outside - soft and succulent inside.
Alongside the dim-sum, there are some other Cantonese favorites: Congees (Chinese porridge with various additions), double-boiled soups, roast duck, pork ribs... you name it.
Cherry Garden is also famous for its Kurobuta pork dishes (Kurobuta is the Japanese name for the Black Berkshire pig). The meat of this rather rare pig is the "Wagyu of pork"... with relatively low and evenly spread fat.
Prices are not low, whatsoever, but the quality of the food is superb, and so is the dining experience: Over SG$ 40 for the buffet.
The Weekend Champagne Dim Sum Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday, between 11 am and 3 pm (there are two sessions: 11 am - 1 pm and 1:30 - 3 pm)
