Chocolux has closed down: Click here to go back to Hong Kong's best cafes and coffee-shops.
Chocolux was established by three chocolate loving friends who couldn't manage to find a place in Hong Kong that is good enough to satisfy their uncontainable desire for chocolates... so they decided to open their own place.
The small cake and dessert shop is, indeed, the city's chocoholics shrine, using top quality dark chocolate and a lot of skill and talent to produce an array of scrumptious desserts, cakes, sundaes, truffles, brownies and unique chocolate drinks and cocktails, like their famous Chocotini (martini with chocolate beads).
Beside chocolate based desserts, they also serve some "normal", café style food (very good too) but most people come here for the real thing...
The place is tucked in a rather obscure place and, without a proper sign, it may take a bit of time to find it... but it certainly worth the effort
Prices are not too high, especially when you consider the quality : Special Lunch and tea sets start at around HK$ 70 and, if you really want to choke yourself, go for the "all-you-can-eat desserts buffet" at around HK$ 150
Open daily, noon - midnight. (Friday & Saturday, until 1 am) closed on Tuesday
