China Club

The Hong Kong Card allows you to enjoy the city's best restaurants without having to dig too deep in your pockets...

Occupying  the top three floors of the old Bank of China Building in Central, this fantastic resto-club is the creation of  Sir David Tang, a local celeb and the founder of Shanghai Tang.

Beautiful nostalgic Chinese décor, that resembles the heydays of 1930s Shanghai, is the first thing that strikes you as you walk inside China Club, with high ceiling and many pieces of vintage art…

The food here is sensational, and while the main focus is given to Hong Kong - style Chinese fare, the chefs give their own modern twist to the dishes, and the results are hands down delicious… Congee breakfast and Dim-sum lunch are authentic, while dinner is somewhat more "creative" and consists of a tasting-plate menu… Their Roasted pork and Peking duck are among the best in Hong Kong.

Ambience in China Club is just as fantastic as the food, with a theatrical "tea waiter" and artistic noodle demonstrations, as well as live performances of a singer, and there is a nice view from the windows, towards Central's glitzy skyscrapers… What else can one ask for ?
