Named after Portugal's national poet (who spent a few years here, in Macau), Camões serves fabulous Portuguese cuisine in a beautiful environment.
Housed in a replica of an old colonial-style Portuguese villa, within the Lisbon section of Macau's Fishermen Wharf, the restaurant is charmingly designed in an old Portuguese style and has a spacious outdoor balcony around it, where diners can have their meal "alfresco", while enjoying the lovely views and the breeze.
The extensive menu features a great variety of Portuguese delicacies, both traditional and "modern": Bacalhau dishes of different types, roasted suckling pig, grilled fresh tuna and the likes...
The desserts section is very promising too (their half baked, chocolate filled muffin is superb)... and so is their choice of wines, spirits and liqueurs.
Prices are quite reasonable, especially when considering the class of this place.
