Alongside Fernando's and Lord Stow's bakery, Café Nga Tim is one of Coloane Island's culinary icons.
The lovely open-air café doesn't have much in the way of fancy décor or glitzy design, but the food here is truly unique and delicious, the ambience is pleasant, friendly and informal and you can dine "alfresco" and watch people, with the picturesque square as a backdrop...
The cuisine features an interesting fusion between Macanese, Portuguese and Chinese cuisines, with focus on seafood, fish, chicken and duck, and the results are simply superb... Salt-and-pepper shrimps and the Garouper (grouper fish) are both recommended.
Prices are very moderate
