Bobby's Taproom serves some of the best ribs in Singapore, in a very pleasant environment.
The restaurant enjoys a great location in Chijmes, right by the fountain court,
so most customers naturally prefer to dine alfresco. The indoor section, however, is nice too, with plenty of rustic wood furniture, a good bar (where you can watch international sport events) and a pool table.
Grilled meats are Bobby's main draw... Especially the legendary Baby back pork ribs for which the restaurant is famed. Other recommended grills include Rib eye steak, Prime rib steak,
Lamb chops and Mediterranean style grilled lamb chunks on a skewer.
Nonetheless, there is a lot to choose from for vegetarians and for those who are not particularly interested in beef steaks or grilled baby pork ribs... From creamy Mushroom soup, Chicken wings and crispy salads, to Fried fish fillets, Chicken Kiev, Pastas and Pizzas.
The staff are particularly friendly and attentive.
Prices are quite reasonable: A-la-carte dinner is around SG$ 30 - 60 and there are all sorts of set-lunch-specials, discounted late-night-menu and the likes...
