Located atop of the luxurious Shangri-La, with commanding views over the city centre and the wealthy green suburbs around it, this superb restaurant, praised by both Wine & Dine and Tatler magazines as one of Singapore's best restaurants, serves fabulous contemporary-French cuisine in an extremely pleasant and comfortable environment.


Beautifully decked out in a classic-contemporary style that combines some vivaciously colored furniture and modern-elegant motifs, ambience here is tranquil and soothing and service is flawless... Works very well for a romantic rendezvous.


The menu presents some creative French-inspired delicacies like Pan-seared rougie foie gras with vanilla apples and watercress saladSautéed freshwater crayfish with linguini pasta and shellfish foamSmoked cod fillet with tomato fondue and mustard seedsBraised pork belly with langoustine and truffle cream  and  Roasted venison loin with cabbage choucroute and bitter chocolate sauce...


Desserts section is very promising too... (For example, the Coconut pannacotta with roasted pineapple and lemongrass ice-cream) and, as expected, there is an impressive wine list, with a good selection of both old world and new world labels.


Prices are relatively high, but the dining experience is certainly superb.


Open daily for dinner (bar stays open until the wee hours of the night).
