Bistro petit salut

.

Visiting Singapore ?
Guided day trips are a very nice way to explore this unique and beautiful city...

.

Nestled in Jalan Merah Saga, not far from Holland Village, this lovely bistro is an offshoot of the prestigious Au Petit Salut restaurant (which used to be here before it relocated to the lush greenery of Harding Road). It serves the best of French and Southern European cuisine in a very pleasant and cozy ambience.

A good variety of delicious favorites make this bistro suitable for different people with different tastes... from the famous South-France Bouillabaisse (rich fish soup) to light and flavorful starters like Beetroot salad with fresh goat cheese, shallots and croutons  or  Warm baby squid salad with garlic, shallots and olive oil,  and from classic entrées like Oven baked escargot or Pan-seared Fois Gras  to  good-old mains like  Braised lamb shank in white wine with tomatoes and mixed vegetables,  Seafood spaghetti with white wine, garlic, parsley and olive oil,  Entrecote "Café de Paris"  or  Crispy duck leg confit with bacon, mushrooms and crispy potato.

Crème Brulée  and  Nougat Glacé with red fruit coulis are among the recommended desserts.

Prices are very reasonable for an upscale French bistro: set-lunch is a real steal at around SG$ 25, while set dinner can come to around SG$ 40 - 45

Open daily (except Sunday) for lunch and dinner
