This very popular restaurant has been serving some of the best Hokkien food in Singapore for the last thirty years and is still as good as ever before.
Located on Chinatown's historic Amoy Street, it boasts a somewhat elegant design and the ambience is fairly pleasant and tranquil... works well for a business lunch, or for dinner with family or friends.
The extensive menu presents a wide array of authentic Hokkien specialties, with emphasize on seafood, and you can choose from one of the various set-menu-options or dine a-la-carte : Lobster salad and Duck salad are quite recommended as starters. Fish maw soup is delicious, and then you can go for one of the popular mains, like Emperor's chicken, Suckling pig, Steamed bread with braised brisket or Fried Hokkien Mee... or you can choose one of the more 'exclusive options' like "Buddha Jumps Over the Wall" or Double-boiled shark's fin soup or one of the abalone delicacies.
