For a different (and delicious) light meal, opt for this small café - deli, specializing in Vietnamese Bánh mì baguette sandwiches.

Bánh mì (or bánh mỳ) is a popular Vietnamese baguette-sandwich. The baguette is made with wheat and rice flour, and the sandwich is stuffed with all sorts of Vietnamese delicacies... Thinly sliced pickled carrots, Daikon (type of radish), Onions, Coriander, and meat or tofu.  Other popular fillings include pork, pâté, chicken, and head cheese (which is actually a terrine of meat from the head of a calf or pig).

Alongside the sandwiches, the café serves some lovely Vietnamese dishes, like Bun thit nuong - a cold vermicelli noodle dish, laced with finely sliced cucumber, beansprouts and topped with grilled, marinated pork.

Delicious Vietnamese desserts and beverages are also on the menu.

Prices are quite moderate: around SG$ 10 - 15 should be enough
