Au Jardin

Housed in a beautifully restored 1920s colonial residence within the Botanic Gardens, this fabulous restaurant enjoys one of the most picturesque locations in Singapore... It is, therefore, very unfortunate they do not serve lunch anymore (except on Friday and Sunday), as much of the beautiful environment can not be seen or appreciated at night.

 

The classic décor revives the glamour of British colonialism in Southeast Asia, with polished wood floor, heavy furniture and very elegant table settings. The dining room at the upper floor is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass through which you can see the gorgeous tropical greenery of the gardens, while on the ground floor there is a bar and a private room.

 

The cuisine they specialize in can be described as classic-contemporary French, with plenty of innovation that results in a plethora of unique combinations and tastes... As expected, there is an excellent selection of wines to complement the meal.

 

Prices are among the highest in Singapore, but the dining experience is superb: Their famous Dinner Degustation Menu is around SG$ 200, while the Table d'hôte allows you to choose four courses at SG$ 175, or three courses at SG$ 150.

 

Friday luncheon and Sunday brunch are, by far, less expensive (around SG$ 60 - 90) and give you the added value of enjoying the gardens view at daylight.

 

Open daily for dinner only.  Luncheon is served on Fridays and brunch is served on Sundays.
