L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon

The Hong Kong Card allows you to enjoy the city's best restaurants without having to dig too deep in your pockets...

Just like any of Joel Robuchon's dining shrines, the food in this Hong Kong concept restaurant is a true feast for the taste buds.

Housed within the ritzy "Landmark", right in the heart of Central, this 2-Michelin Star restaurant serves the crème de la crème of contemporary French cuisine in a stylish setting that is sleek and sexy on one hand, yet ultra-modern and business-minded on the other hand, with hues of red, black and chrome dominating the scene…

Seating here is on bar stools around the open-kitchen, and while it lacks intimacy, it more than makes up for it by allowing you to watch the talented chefs in action…

There are a few menus for different times of the day, and you can basically choose between the set-menu, and the a-la-carte, or opt for the L'Atelier Small Portion Menu if you are short of time and money…

Recommended dishes include:

  • Free-range quail with foie gras, served with fresh herbs and mashed potato
  • Lobster risotto, with chanterelle mushrooms and parmesan cheese
  • Beef and foie gras burgers with lightly caramelized bell peppers
  • Semi-cooked Scottish salmon with tomato condiments and zucchini puree
  • Pan seared scallops with onion confit and méridional condiment

and… Steak tartare topped with fine black truffle...

The wine-list, almost needless to mention, is superb and boasts almost everything you can think of…

Prices are on the high side: Set lunch starts from HK$ 400, while MENU DÎNER is HK $ 680 and a-la-carte dinner can be much more than that...

Open daily for lunch and dinner (They even serve breakfast)
