For truly authentic Indian curries and scrumptious north Indian food, no place in Macau beats Aruna's restaurant.
Named after its owner/founder, Aruna jha, an Indian lady who arrived here in the early 1980s to teach traditional Indian dances and was kind enough to stay and give the people of Macau their share of delicious Indian fare, this café style eatery serves fantastic food that is both affordable and very authentic (with almost all the spices being imported directly from India). It's also a favorite among vegetarians, who can find more than a few items on the menu that suit them.
Following the success of its original outlet, Aruna opened a second one recently (a bit more spacious), on Taipa Island, not far from the "village"
Prices are quite moderate: Dinner is around MOP$ 100-150 (excluding drinks)
Both outlets are open daily for lunch and dinner
