As its name suggests, Afrikana is an African-themed restaurant that serves a variety of specialties from across the continent. The whole place is designed in a traditional African style and the dining rooms occupy replicas of authentic huts, with plenty of tribal handcrafts around and dome-shaped thatched roofs above.
Although the restaurant has been transformed into an evening bar and the rich buffet is no longer there, the menu still features a lot to choose from... Whole barbecued lamb (the restaurant's specialty), African chicken, BBQ meats, seafood, fish, salads and so on... Everything is good (even if it's not always "authentic African"...).
A small band keeps the diners happy and the ambience is fairly pleasant and cheerful...
Prices are not bad: around MOP$ 200-250 per person
Open daily for dinner (6 pm - 12 midnight), and they also serve late lunch on weekends and public holidays.
