Visiting Hong Kong ?
Guided day tours are a very nice way to explore this unique and beautiful metropolis...
Owned by a Portuguese, this small and cozy restaurant serves some of the best Portuguese food in Macau and is particularly famous for its cheese platters and char-grilled dishes.
It's not too fancy or glitzy, but the décor is lovely, with rustic Portuguese furniture and red/white checked tablecloths. The ambience is very pleasant, the food is delicious and the portions are large... Good choice for couples, as much as for small groups.
The extensive menu features some scrumptious specialties, like : Tapas and platters (especially cheese, but also Chouriço and others), fabulous grilled fish (Sea Bass, Garoupa, Codfish and more...) Fried spicy prawns, Curry crab, Roast quail, Paella, Portuguese style BBQs (steaks, lamb-chops and spare-ribs), Clams Bulhão Pato, Secretos na Brasa (boar steak), Bacalhau à Brás (salted cod (bacalhau), onions and thinly chopped fried potatoes in a bound of scrambled eggs) and more...
As expected, there is a decent selection of wines, Cognacs and other spirits and liqueurs to complement the lovely dinner.
Prices are quite reasonable : dinner is around MOP$ 100-200 (excluding wine and alcohol). Daily set menus are written on the blackboard.
