A Lorcha

Located nearby the Maritime Museum and A-Ma Temple, A Lorcha is one of Macau's most favorite Portuguese restaurants.

The rustic, colonial-Portuguese style décor contributes to the pleasant atmosphere in this rather small and cozy restaurant, and the food is simply superb... Both seafood and meat dishes are equally good.

Recommended dishes include: Chouriço assado (char-grilled Portuguese chorizo), Galinha à Africana (African chicken),  Arroz de marisco a Portuguesa (Portuguese style seafood rice), Bacalhau com natas (bacalhau with potato in  cream sauce), Pan-fried clams with garlic, Clams with tomato and herbs sauce and more... You can definitely allow yourself to be adventurous when placing your order, as there is very little chance you will be disappointed.

The lovely dining experience is complemented by a decent wine list (Portuguese, naturally) and the service is very good too.

Prices are quite moderate: dinner is around MOP$ 150-200 (excluding wine and alcohol)

Open for lunch and dinner (reservations are recommended, especially for dinner)
